Mandala

An organization of collective connecting agents that catalyze change.

About Us

Our Mission

Mandala addresses social issues that impact all levels of society with spiritual urgency towards collective action. We connect collectives who facilitate conscious collaboration to implement social, economic, and environmental change that alleviates suffering of all beings.

Our Vision

Mandala seeks to create a world of love, unity, harmony through putting spiritual principles into action

Core Values

Participatory Governance

We believe all stakeholders deserve to be a part of the decisions that impact them. Creating structures that empower people with direct experience of socioeconomic issues to make decisions is not only more supportive of personal sovereignty, but also more effective in achieving goals.

Radical Inclusivity

We create a space where all people can belong, regardless of nationality, religion, race, class, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or any other dimension of their experience. We acknowledge that we live within a conditioned system that centers some dimensions of humanity at the expense of others. In order to create a radically inclusive space we must take proactive steps to elevate the people, identities, cultures, energies, and characteristics that our dominant system marginalizes.

Power With, Not Power Over

We create space where all people can step fully into their power. We support each other in ways that support the power, visions, and development of one another. We interrogate and transform relationships where one person’s empowerment relies on the disempowerment, control, or coercion of another.

Accountable Solidarity

Our work and the collective liberation is deeply bound together with many communities. We foster relationships and understandings that uplift all people. We recognize this requires taking proactive steps to ensure our activities do not unintentionally reproduce the oppression of the dominant system by excluding the needs of women, people of color, indigenous people, disabled people, or any other group that is often denied voice in the decisions that impact them. We practice ongoing solidarity, and remain open to feedback from all communities with which we engage.

Socio-economic Change

We seek to shift socio-economic paradigms and draw inspiration from the trains of thought such as cooperative and resource based economics, ephemeralization, and egalitarian indigenous communal cultures.

Our Causes

What We Do
